What was the highlight of B-aparthotel Kennedy
Very pleased with our trip to The Hague to visit friends.
The room was very good. The bed was comfortable. The location was excellent. We liked the concept of the hotel/ apartment and that suited our needs perfectly. We chose this hotel because of the option to bring our dog. That was a real plus. The wall painting behind the bed was lovely.
A cloth to wipe surfaces and another to dry plates and cutlery would have been useful. The shower was a bit compact. The booking system was very complicated and I suspected a scam. There were no specifics about when amounts had to be paid and important information was hidden in very small print - perhaps that was just the Booking.Com site.

Great short stay. Comfort, clean, private. Quiet, convenient location, close to tram and amenities.
I didn’t opt for breakfast. It wasn’t included in my booking so I can’t comment. There were 3 members of staff at the aparthotel. There was a Greek lady, I believe her name was Eleni. She was exceptional. Friendly, helpful, kind and always chatty, offering a smile and asking how everything was. I would rate her 10 out of 10. At the time of checking out, I asked if I could leave a gift with reception for a friend to pick up. Only the male member of staff was present, it was early in the morning and they were just opening up. He was very kind to agree to keep it on my behalf. He took the bag and kept it. My friend was unwell and could only pick the bag up 2 weeks after I left. I’m grateful he and or other members of staff looked after this gift so well. It was very sweet of them to safekeep it for a guest who had left the hotel. Thank you for that! On the whole, this is a safe, clean and more than ample accommodation that offers independent travellers privacy and comfort on their short term travels. I stayed 6 nights and was satisfied with the aparthotel.
The sachets of creamer in the room were hard as rock. I thought they might be old. I used them regardless as the other 2 members of staff said it was normal, when I enquired. When the sachets finished, I asked for replenishment and as it happens, it was Eleni who was at the reception counter. She gave me sachets which were fresh I thought, as the powder was soft and fluffy which is normal. It wasn’t too big of an issue really. It didn’t affect my stay which was decent. The room was more than ample. There were repair / maintenance works taking place outside the building but this didn’t bother me too much as there were good blinds so I could leave windows slightly ajar for fresh air and have the blinds down for privacy. I don’t think this renovation was mentioned prior to booking. I certainly don’t recall but I could be wrong. I may have missed reading it. It wasn’t too much of a disturbance either way. The workers were not loud or noisy. There were 3 tissues in the tissue box. I guess the cleaner didn’t top it up. I pulled one out and all three tissues came out at a once and the box was then empty. I bought a new box of tissues from Albert Hein, it cost only a Euro and a half. I didn’t want to bother the staff about this. Since I was staying 6 nights I just got my own and left it behind when I left.

Room for improvement
Comfortable and quiet suite on the 4th floor. Pleasant view out to trees. Muggy summer nights meant we appreciated the quiet air conditioning. This was the third time we have stayed here due to the convenient location for our needs.
The hotel was demanding an extra payment of €25 per night for use of the sofa bed. Only solved after I got customer service from booking.com involved. Additionally, the sometimes threatening tone of emails prior to arrival is not customer friendly and with unknown and not working weblinks provided for prepayments. Also a deposit of €250 was required which is something I have not experienced at other hotels in the 35 years of my adult life.
